Anthony "Tony" Stapleton

Anthony "Tony" Stapleton, age 61, went to his heavenly home, Thursday, June 29, 2023. He was born in Morristown, TN. After graduating high school, he enlisted in the United States Army where he served at Fort Benning, Ga. and Germany. He loved the Lord, his family, friends and his church. He was a true example of a servant leader. He was a member of Arrowhead Church where he served in many ministries. He also played a big role in King's Corner. His passion was to serve the Lord and see people come to know Jesus Christ as their Savior.

Tony was preceded in death by his dad Ralph "Bucket" Stapleton, along with his grandparents and brother-in-law: Tommy Hutson.

Survivors include his wife of 26 years, Donna Stapleton; his loving mother, Peggy Stapleton; sons: TJ Stapleton, Jacob (Trista) Robinson; daughters: Sarah Stapleton, and Nichole Patterson. Grandchildren: Tre Stapleton, Kaiden and Krista Collins (Joey Collins), Christopher Downey and Kylah Robinson. Sister: Kim (Mike) Trent and brother: Johnny Stapleton, along with his extended family, Cathi Hutson, Loretta (Glen) Amyx and Brain (Catherine) Gulley.

The family will receive friends Sunday, July 2, 2023 from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Arrowhead Church with funeral services to follow with Pastor Ben Shoun and Brett Moore officiating.

Friends and family will meet in the Veterans Section of Hamblen Memory Gardens on Monday, July 3, 2023 at 10:45 AM for a Military graveside service at 11:00 AM.
