ALLEN S. MILLER, age 68 of Whitesburg, went to be with the Lord on Monday April 3, 2017 at his residence. He was an Army veteran serving in Vietnam. He was preceded in death by his wife, Imogene Miller; mother and father, Howard and Elza Mink Miller; and brother, Charles Miller. He is survived by his daughter, Lora (Stacy) Smith; step children, Christy (Chris) Hovious, Stacey (Bobbie) Owenby, Tim Owenby and Harold (Nicole) Owenby; 10 grandchildren; brother, Bob (Doris) Miller and Jerry (Sue) Miller; and beloved puppy, Notchie; several nieces, nephews and a host of friends. There will be a military graveside service on Thursday, April 6, 2017 in Hamblen Memory Gardens with VFW Post #5266 officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Vietnam Veterans of America, Chapter 1073, PO Box 3326, Morristown, TN 37815. Arrangements are by Stubblefield Funeral Home.
