His greatest joy in life was his family, fishing, NASCAR, and watching Tennessee Football.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Maggie Mitchell of Morristown, grandparents Clyde and Arlesa McCracken of Newport, Lawrence and Edna Mitchell of Morristown, his uncles Danny Mitchell, Jerry Mitchell, and GW Ward all of Morristown and his aunt Heike McCracken of Newport.
He is survived by his father Darrell Mitchell, brother Jamie (Janae) Mitchell of Morristown, sister Nova (Michael) Bowers of Talbott, his nephew and niece Zayne and Acoya Mitchell of Morristown and nephews Noah and Nolan Bowers of Talbott. He also leaves behind several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Visitation with his family will be Friday, March 7, 2025 from 12 Noon until 2:00 PM at Stubblefield Funeral Home. Funeral services to follow at 2:00 PM with Rev. Justin Graham officiating. Entombment in Hamblen Memory Gardens Mausoleum immediately following.
