William Dennis Carswell, age 80, of Morganton, passed away on Monday, September 18, 2023. William was born the son of the late Everette Carswell and Mary Kincaid Carswell on November 11, 1942 in Burke County.
Along with his parents, William is preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Lail Carswell.
Those left behind to cherish William's memory include his son and daughter in law, Steven and Crystal Carswell; two granddaughters, Mary Carswell and her husband Quincy and Stephanie Carswell; four great grandchildren, Garry, Dallas, Levi and Kinsley; and two sisters, Mildred Clark and her husband Palmer and Carolyn Shuffler.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
