Vivian Deloris Harwood

Vivian Deloris Harwood, 75, of Drexel, NC passed away Tuesday, February 8, 2022. Born on September 29, 1946, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Hughes Farris and Bessie Roena Farris. Vivian was a graduate of Drexel High School and worked as a furniture inspector in the furniture industry for over 30 years. Vivian excelled at everything she did. Whether it was making cakes, sewing, floral arranging or making Halloween costumes for all the children she loved. Vivian had a wonderful sense of humor, was fiercely loyal and dedicated to her family and loved spending time with her boys. She will be incredibly missed by all who knew and loved her.

In addition to her parents, Vivian was preceded in death by her husband Norman Harwood and sister Linda Woods.

She is survived by her son Michael Harwood and partner Danny Hefner; son Eric Harwood; her best friend Granger Chapman; 4 grandsons; 3 great grandchildren; sister Judy Lowman and husband Archie; numerous nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 2pm, Tuesday, February 15, 2022 at Drexel Memorial Cemetery.
