Terry Calvin Moore

On Thursday, September 22, 2011, Mr. Terry Calvin Moore, 47, of Hickory North Carolina went to be with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. His death ended at Wake Forest Medical Center in Winston Salem surrounded by friends and family. He was born January 17, 1964 in Burke County.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Annette Avery Moore, grandparents, Napoleon Avery Sr. and Robbie Rutherford Avery.

Survivors left to cherish his memories are his father, Thomas W. Moore, of Morganton; 3 daughters Latisha Chapman and Jessica Chapman, both of Greensboro, Terri Moore of Morganton, 2 sons, Joshua Chapman of Greensboro and Rodrick Taylor of Wilkesboro and 1 step daughter, Jessica Tracy of Hickory. He is also survived by his sister, Deborah A. Caldwell and husband, Randall, of Morganton; 3 brothers, Gregory Avery and Leroy Moore of Morganton, and Ronald Moore of Hickory. Also remembering him are 2 granddaughters, Zion Long and Jaelynn Taylor, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Mr. Moore are scheduled for 3pm, Sunday, September 25th at Willow Tree AME Church. The family will receive friends at 2:30pm at the church.
