Steven Benjamin Shelton

Steven is the loving father of two sons Jacob Shelton of Asheville, (wife) Mary, and Noah Shelton of Hendersonville. He has two surviving brothers Jason Shelton and Daniel Shelton and two sisters Becca and Melinda. He leaves behind his loving partner of 10 years Debra Whisnant and loving mother Barbara Lail, and others Christine and Joy and too many others to mention. Steven was the proud grandfather of five precious grandchildren Bobbie, Kirbie, John, Henry, and Steely. Pappaw will surely be missed by all these grandbabies. We will also miss him this Christmas season and always.

Steven can be remembered as a true believer in Christ, a devoted loving and generous man who stopped at nothing to help his family and friends. He was a member of Porch Chapel Missionary Methodist Church where he played the bass guitar. We will all miss you Catfish, until we meet again may you wait for us in the next life.

A Memorial Service will be held Sunday, December 10, 2023 at 3:00pm with the Rev. Wallace Smith Officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
