Sherry Woody Woody Spears

Sherry enjoyed planting flowers and doing photography. She was the life of the party and always had a smile on her face. Sherry loved her family, grandchildren and her two pugs, Paisley and Willow Rose.

Sherry is preceded in death by her husband, Vernon Smith and a great niece Lily Ann Hollifield.

Those left behind to cherish Sherry’s memory include her parents, Scott and Vivian Woody of Morganton; two children, Kasey Woody and her significant other, Jason Berry and Ben Smith, both of Morganton; a sister, Theresa and Jeff Berry of Morganton; a brother Jeff and Teresa Woody of Morganton; three grandchildren, Preston Berry, Tanner Berry and Lathan Smith, all of Morganton; two nieces, Anna Berry and her significant other John Ross and Mindy Woody and her fiancé Caleb Hollifield, both of Morganton; a nephew, Dustin Berry and his significant other Carolina Baldwin of Lenoir; and two great nieces, Natalie and Mollie Ross.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, June 4, 2016 in the Chapel of Kirksey Funeral Home with Pastor Joe Newton Officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will take place in Glen Alpine Cemetery.
