He was born February 03,1947 to the late Carter Marshall and Madeline Seuberth Marshall in Baltimore, Maryland.
Richard also known as "Pop" was born and raised in Baltimore Maryland, he drove trucks for 40 years and upon his retirement, had moved to North Carolina. He was a HUGE fan of the Baltimore Orioles and steam crabs. His other interests included enjoying 60's and 70's music, "Farming" on Facebook, and spending time with friends and family, including his family at the Hwy10 Auction. Out of all of his hobbies and interests, Pop most enjoyed fishing with his Best Friend "Grandson" Caden Brown and taking his youngest grandson Benjamin "Gator" Munday for a long scooter ride in the front yard.
In addition to his parents Carter and Madeline Marshall, Richard was preceded in death a brother; Herbert Marshall, and sisters; Audrey "Sissy" Schriefer, Sharon "Dumpy" Shore, Joan Thipps, and Dorothy Wilson.
Richard is survived by his wife Kimberly Marshall, children; Kathleen Thompson, Richard Marshall, Jr., Judith Dunaway, Betty Marshall, Michael Bottomley, Crystal Brown, extended family, Christina Marshall, and John Hyde, siblings; Rose Rossow, Maggie Lupton, Carter "Buck" Marshall, Jeanie Humes, James Shore, 16 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, 1 great-great grandchild along with nieces and nephews.
Pop loved sharing his stories and memories with friends and family. Although he will be GREATLY missed, his legacy will continue through those stories and memories.
