Richard was known for his sweet and energetic personality. He always had a smile on his face and loved everyone as much as they loved him. He will truly be missed.
Richard is preceded in death by his beloved mother, Carolyn Cantrell and grandmother, Beatrice Patterson.
Those left to cherish Richard's memory include a sister, Tracy Cantrell, an aunt, Toni Anderson, two uncles, Mike and Gary Patterson; and a nephew, Dylan Lawson.
The family would like to thank the amazing staff at the J Iverson Riddle Developmental Center for their kindness and care over the years. The family suggest memorials be made to the Center in honor of Richard.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
