Rebecca Gonzalez Smith

Born October 11, 1970 in Abilene, TX, Rebecca was a daughter of the late Heladio and Barbara Gonzalez. Rebecca enjoyed fashion and clothing design. She also enjoyed listing to 1980’s dance music. She was a member of the St. Matthew’s Methodist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Albert and Abel Gonzalez.

Survivors include her son, Anthony Smith; her daughter, Destiny Renea Gonzalez; two brothers, Heladio Gonzalez Jr and Michael “Miguel” Gonzalez; four sisters, Gloria Masso, Frances Gonzalez, Emma Gonzalez, Eufemia Gonzalez Hart and Erminia Gonzalez; she is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

A celebration of Rebecca’s life will be held on Saturday, April 2, 2016 at 2:00 PM at the St. Matthew’s Methodist Church with Pastor Heather Kilbourne officiating.
