She was born to the late Morris Kelly and Betty Conley on February 03, 1953 in McDowell Co.
Ollie retired from Broughton Hospital as a Health Care Technician after many years of service. She was a member of Highway to Hedges in Lenoir under the leadership of Pastor James Wilfong.
In addition to her parents, Ollie was preceded in death by her grandparents John H. Conley and Ollie Conley.
Those left to cherish her memories include her children; Aketa Tate of Lenoir, Clay Tate and Tony Tate both of Morganton, grandchildren, Devonte Tate, Jelani Tate, Samaria Sanders, Xavier Tate, Neka Forney, and Dionna McGimpsey, siblings; Paul Conley of North Dakota, Frank Wilkerson, Larry Wilkerson, Morris Kelly, Lanetta Kelly of Marion, Lavette Kelly of Shelby, Marshall Kelly, along with Red and Hattie both of Morganton. Also, surviving are a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A Funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, December 17, 2022 in the Chapel of Kirksey Funeral Home of Morganton. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service time at the funeral home. Burial will follow at McDowell Cemetery of Marion. Rev. James Wilfong Officiating.
