Margaret Helen Bristol

Margaret was born the daughter of the late Clyde Gold Jones and Effie Mae Smith Jones on January 9, 1939 in Rutherford County.

Margaret was wise and generous person. She enjoyed working in her flower gardens, landscaping, playing Bridge and caring for her animals. Margaret had been a member of the Morganton Women's Club and had volunteered in "Grace Hospital's" gift shop. Most of all, she was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Margaret will be missed.

Along with her parents, Margaret is preceded in death by her husband, Benedict Bristol, III.

Those left behind to cherish Margaret's memory include a daughter, Melisa Bristol; two sons, Benedict Bristol, IV and his wife Jennifer and Jason Gold Bristol, all of Morganton; two grandson, Christopher and Timothy Bristol of Morganton; and a granddaughter, Heather Goings and her husband Josh of Salem. Also surviving are five great grandchildren, numerous other relatives and friends.

A private service will be held at a later date.
