Mae Wallace Bryson

Mae Sweet Wallace Bryson, 92, passed into her eternal rest on May 4, 2024. Mae left us in her sleep, surrounded by three generations of her family. Mae spent the last 16 years in her Dunedin FL home, cared for by her family, and her miniature Dachsunds. Mae was predeceased by her father, Herbert P. Wallace Sr., mother, Corinne Ernest Wallace, brother, Herbert P. Wallace Jr. and her beloved husband, James Andrew Bryson. She is survived by three children, Joy Bryson Turner, James Theodore Bryson and Donald McClendon Bryson: five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Mae remained grateful for the friendship and kindness of her many friends particularly those in Old Fort, Marion and Western Carolina. As a person of faith, they remained in her thoughts and prayers, always.

In accordance with her wishes, she will be buried in United Methodist Cemetery, Nebo, on May 13, next to her husband.
