Her parents, Earl and Carol Begley, a sister Martha Michelle and a brother Earl Edward Begley Jr., precede Linda in death.
Those left behind to cherish Linda’s memory include her husband, Dan Deaton; a daughter, Angela Deaton, a son, Chris Deaton; twin granddaughters, Blake and Tegan; two stepdaughters, Kelley Thompson and Trinita Deaton; four brothers, Patrick Sean, Ronnie Begley, Mason Begley, and Johnathan Begley; and two sisters, Deanna Begley and Beth (Begley) Palmer. Several aunts, uncles, and numerous cousins, all who loved her dearly, also survive Linda.
Linda graduated with honors from Sheldon Clark High School, Inez, KY in 1982, then served her country in the US Navy. She was very successful in pursuing a career in radio broadcasting. As on-air personality "Linda Brady", she worked at radio stations in Kentucky, Florida and North Carolina. Linda had many admirers and fans who loved her.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made in Linda’s memory to the Huntington’s Disease Society of America, 505 English Ave., Suite 902, New York, NY 10018.
A memorial service will be held at 7:00 pm on Friday, July 24, 2020 in the Chapel of Kirksey Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
