Joann Coffey Leary, 85 was born in Morganton, NC on October 12, 1935. Joann was the daughter of the late Lemmie Coffey and Dillie Corpening.
Joann was a graduate of Olive Hill High School and worked for Drexel Heritage Furniture for 30 years. She was a member of Gaston Chapel A.M.E. Church and enjoyed cooking and being around her family.
Joann transitioned from this life to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Friday, October 23, 2020.
Those left to celebrate Joann's life and cherish her memories include her three sons; Ivery Leary, Jr., Gilbert Leary, and Clifton Leary, eleven grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends she will be greatly missed.
The family will receive friends thirty minutes prior to service.
The Leary family has entrusted arrangements to Kirksey Funeral Home of Morganton.
