Jacqueline Bernice McCall Wiseman

Jacqueline Bernice McCall Wiseman, age 91, of Morganton, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, August 2nd 2011 after a short illness. She was born the daughter of the late Samuel Milton McCall and Cora Louise McCall on March 20th 1920 in McDowell County. Jackie was a longtime member of Calvary Lutheran Church. During her life she enjoyed many styles of dancing, going on long walks and spending time at the beach. Jackie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She will be greatly missed.

Along with her parents, Jackie is preceded in death by her husband, A.A. Wiseman, Jr.; a son, Larry Gene Wiseman; and two sisters, Iva Laughridge Greene and Nell Anderson.

Those left behind to cherish her memory include a daughter, Susan Wiseman Lacey and her husband, Bruce of Foster City, CA; a son, Norman Wiseman and his wife, Gayle of Greenwood, SC; two grandchildren, Jennifer Bales and her husband, Wade of Bluffton, SC and Daniel Wiseman and his companion, Allison of Asheville; and five great grandchildren, Charles Wade Bales, Jackson Bales, Harrison Bales, Anna Lauren Bales and Eden Wiseman. Also surviving are several nieces, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 12 noon on Saturday, August 6th 2011 at Calvary Lutheran Church. Interment will follow at Forest Hills Cemetery with the Rev. Michael F. Riley officiating. The family will receive friends at the church from 10:30 till 11:45 A.M. Saturday at the church.
