Minister Frances Louise Caldwell Johnson

Mrs. Johnson was born May 1, 1938 to the late Leroy Caldwell and Etta Bridges.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death her first husband, Gordon G. Hood, Second

husband, Manley Johnson, sisters; Barbara Ferguson, Irene Cline, Catherine Caldwell, brothers; Roy Dalley, Charles Caldwell and Ralph Caldwell.

She was a Godly woman and was Minister of the Gospel. She was a member of Greater Saint James United Church of God of Charlotte. As a child she attended Willow Tree School of Morganton. She earned her Masters Degree of Religious Studies at Johnson C. Smith of Charlotte.

She is survived by children; Erza Dexter Hood (Janice), Patty Gill Massey (Jimmy), Roddy Leon Hood (Vanessa) , Duanna Mantta Edwards ( Carl), two brothers; Robert G. Caldwell of Morganton and Paul Bryant Of California, a sister; Mary Etta Rutherford of Lenoir , five grandchildren; Anthony Hood, Frances Deanna Hood Miles, Reco Charmall Culp, Felicai Shawnta Hood, and Deanna LaShae Hood, eight great grandchildren; Anthony Marquice Hood, DaShawn Tillman, TyShawn Saint Clair, Anthony Zachariah Hood, Jeremiah Alexander Brodie, Brianna Marie Cornelius, Keegan Alexander Norman , and Jakiya Joleah Culp. and a very special brother in law; Rev. Rupert G. Ferguson, and a host of nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.
