Flora Raye Carswell

she was the daughter of the late Hezekiah Carswell and Lucy Smith Carswell.

Along with her parents, Flora is preceded in death by five brothers, Ike, Paul, Hardy, Guy & Lonnie Carswell and five sisters, Clara Gurley, Opha Melton, Ardie Carswell , Dorothy Carswell & Sue McGee.

Those surviving to cherish her memory include a son, Eric H. Carswell and his wife Rhonda of Morganton;

Three grandchildren, Eric H.W. Carswell and Roy L.R. Carswell, and Callie R. Sloan, all of Morganton;

Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM, Saturday, March13, 2010, at the Bethlehem Baptist Church with the Rev. Dennis Carswell officiating. Interment will follow at the Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM, Friday, March 12, 2010, at Kirksey Funeral Home, Morganton.
