Dollie Mae Green Holland

Dollie was born to the late William Ervin Green and Lela Bowden Green on September 13, 1926 in Nash County, NC. She was a member of Missionary Ridge Baptist Church. Dollie enjoyed gardening, flowers, cats, birds, shopping and spending time with her family. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt and friend. Dollie will be greatly missed.

Along with her parents, Dollie is preceded in death by her husband, Glenn Holland; four brothers, Buddie, Matthew, Rufus and Robert Green; and a sister, Louise Wester.

Those left behind to cherish Dollie’s memory include her son, Randy Holland and his wife, Cindy, and her special friend, CoCo the cat. Also surviving are numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, April 30, 2016 in the chapel of Kirksey Funeral Home with Rev. Donald Lovelace, Rev. Chris Dale and Mr. Thurston Greene officiating. Interment will follow in Burke Memorial Park. The Family Will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
