Cynthia Elizabeth Davis

Cynt was born on December 21, 1951, in Morganton, NC, to the late William Davis, Jr. and Annie Scott Conley

Cynt worked at Blue Ridge Community Action for most of her life; After retiring, she enjoyed reading “her stories” on the computer until her declining vision didn’t allow her to.

While never having biological children, Cynt made a life raising 3 generations of family members. She will always be lovingly remembered as being “no nonsense” and made her mark on all that met her.

She is survived by Keiayla Davis, great niece of the home, Special niece and nephew, formerly of the home, Andrea Davis, (Dulaney) and Wayne Harbison; brothers, Brian Conley (Layla), Phillip Conley, III (Mechele), Harry Davis, William Davis, III (Sue Ella); Sisters, Drucilla Watkins and Sheryl Davis; Nieces and nephews, Kala, Searra, Terrell, Paige, Braeden, Keandre, Kyrie, Sabrina, Shawn, BJ, Ray, Eliza, Tamara

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by the love of her life, Robert “Butch” Avery and a nephew, Javon Conley

The family will receive friends on Saturday, June 24 at 1:00 at Kirksey Funeral Home with a memorial service to follow, officiated by Reverend Anthony Radcliff
