Cornelia "Connie" Jeanette Hensley

She was born in Iredell County, to the late Arthur Tallent and Mattie Haley Tallent.

Connie had a contagious smile and loved spending time with family.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by son; Jason Hensley whom was a firefighter that passed in the line of duty, siblings; Shane Tallent and Penny Tallent.

Those left to cherish her memory are son; Rick Hensley and wife Barbara, daughter-in-law, Lydia Susan Hensley, grandchildren; Zackary Hensley, Jordan Hensley, Brianna Hensley, brother; Dale Tallent; nieces and nephews; Layla Tallent, Harley Tallent, Jed Tallent, Buddy Hamby, Christy Jackson, Melissa Corpening, Tabetha Tallent and Jessica Gamble.

A Celebration of life will be held on Friday, March 8, 2019 at 4:00 pm at Calvary Freewill Baptist Church, 212 Malcolm Blvd, Rutherford College, NC 28671 with Rev. Freddy Lindsey officiating. A visitation will be held a half hour prior from 3:30 pm to 4:00 pm at the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Muscular Dystrophy Association at 161 N. Clark Suite 3550, IL 60601
