Beatrice Caldwell

Bea was born June 24, 1929 in Burke County to the late Estelle Powell Caldwell and Solie Caldwell.

She was a graduate of Olive Hill High School and attended A&T University. She was a member of Willow Tree AME Church and became a member New Bethel A.M.E. Church of Germantown in Philadelphia where she resided for over 60 years. Her present pastor was Rev. Allan Robinson.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sisters, Annie Mae Caldwell, and Essie Caldwell Bettis, brothers, Willis, Frank, Charles, James, Samuel, Paul, and Hal Caldwell.

She is survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and sister in laws Mamie and Gladys Caldwell.

The family would like to thank her niece Mary Ham and great niece Lisa Ham both of Philadelphia for the love and special care they provided for her.

A private interment will be at Willow Tree A.M.E. Church at a later date.
