Addie Lee Butler Giles

She was born to the late Levi Lee and Lucy Norris Lee on January 18, 1934 in Anderson, South Carolina.

Addie worked at Grace Hospital in Janitorial Services until she retired. She enjoyed traveling, spending time with her family and friends, and enjoyed when her son Gene came home from traveling. Addie loved watching soap operas and shopping.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband James Giles, siblings; Ulysses Lee, Lourene Butler, and Millie Mae Pressley, also her son in law; Robert Booker Pearson.

Those left to cherish Addie Lee Butler Giles memory include her children; Steven Butler, Dale Butler, Eugene Butler, Teresa Branch (Scott), and Mary Butler Pearson, also surviving are 8 grandchildren along with a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

A receiving of family and friends for Addie will be held Wednesday, March 30, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 1:55 PM at Kirksey Funeral Home, 406 Lenoir Rd., Morganton, NC 28655. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, March 30, 2022 at 2:00 PM. An interment will occur at Burke Memorial Park.
