Thomas Sothern

Thomas was a dedicated worker, having provided for himself by primarily working offshore on oil riggs, as a security guard, a welder, a chef, and various other ventures. A proud veteran, Thomas honorably served his country in the United States Navy. Favorite past times of Thomas were to spend time outdoors fishing and hunting. He was also an excellent cook and enjoyed creating delicious meals for himself and others. Thomas was known his humble nature. He was a kind, generous and loving gentleman to others but especially to his family.

Those left to cherish his beautiful memory are his sister, Virigina "Ginger" Honish and several loving nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews.

He was reunited in heaven with his parents, James O'Brien Sothern and Violet Mary Boudreaux Sothern.

In keeping with the family's wishes, services for Thomas will be held privately.
