Sandra was a kind and loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She loved all of her family with all of her heart and soul. She was a graceful woman with poise and charm. Everyone who met her or knew her, liked her from the second they met her and loved her dearly. She was a woman from a different time and era, when a woman spoke softly and their family was the first concern and they never walked out the house without their lipstick on. She was a gentle spirit.
Sandra was a member of the Krewe of Galatea, enjoyed bowling, traveling, hunting and fishing. Sandra was truly one of a kind. Her example of love and how to show love will live on forever.
Sandra is survived by her loving daughter, Kim Levy Russo; son, Arthur Levy III and wife Lisa; son-in-law, Gary Russo; brother, Louis Russo and wife Linda; sister, Debra Russo Blackman and husband John; sister-in-law, Glyn Levy Dupont and husband Darryl; godchildren, Pam Patterson Robichaux, Philip Price and Angela Dupont; grandchildren, Jacqueline Levy LaCoste and husband Jason, Catherine Russo Hales and husband William, Dustin Levy and wife Bandie, Nick Russo and wife Marissa and Lauren Russo; great-grandchildren, Landyn LaCoste, Madison Levy, Brileigh LaCoste, Addilyn Levy, CeCe Hales, Jack Hales, Ian Levy, Jace Lacoste and Harrison Russo; and numerous loving nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Elvina Russo; sister, Juanita Russo Patterson; grandson, Wolfe Jacob Levy II; nephews, Ben Russo and Sean Lyerly.
Loving thanks to her caregivers, Lenora Delco, Denise Johnson, Monica Verdin, Bobbie Ruffin, Jackie Babin, Masion Jardin and Hope Hospice.
Pallbearers will be Art Levy, Gary Russo, Dustin Levy, Nick Russo, Philip Price and Roy Garber.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, April 16, 2024 at Holy Cross Catholic Church from 10am until 11am. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11am at Holy Cross Catholic Church with Father Francis officiating. Burial will follow in the Morgan City Cemetery.
