Rita H. Pitre, a native and long time resident of Morgan City, passed away in Baton Rouge on April 23, 2011, at the age of 89.
Mrs. Pitre is survived by her four children: R. D. Pitre III of Madisonville; Stephanie Roy of Baton Rouge; Marsha Arcemont of Covington; and, Ray Pitre of Breaux Bridge.
She is also survived by eight grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Rita was preceded in death by her husband, R. D. Pitre, Jr., her parents Joseph and Junietta Hebert, and, her brother Ralph Hebert.
Visitation will be Saturday, April 30 at Holy Cross Catholic Church beginning at 10:00 a.m. Funeral Services will begin at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be in the future at West Lawn in Gretna.
