Mervin Story

Mervin was born to Mr. & Mrs. Clemoth Story in Magnolia, Ark, on October 15, 1942.

Mervin was a resident of Patterson, LA, where he resided with his wife of 53 years, Peggy Vantromp Story.

Mervin is survived by his 3 children, Timmy Andrew Story (Tracie), Charles Todd Story (Donna), and Margaret Story Thomas (Henry); 11 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren.

Mervin is preceded in death by his parents; his loving wife, Peggy Vantromp Story; one daughter, Sonia Story Traylor; and one sister, Karen Story Traweek.

Mervin worked in the oil field most of his life and was a truck driver for Halliburton, where he retired from; and in his spare time, he enjoyed watching old western movies. He also loved to go sacalait fishing.

Mervin's wishes were to not have any services. Hargrave Funeral Home will be entrusted with his cremation.
