To know Melba is to love her. She never met a person she disliked, and she never made a friend she did not keep. She kept two “daughters” close to her heart, Angela LeBlanc and Rachel Carline. She was always driven around by her closest friend, Linda Rudolph, and neighbors that turned into family, Vic and Karen Chopin. Melba's life-long best friend, the one she could always count on, and Aunt to her children, Debra Fabre, and late husband Roger Fabre. There are so many relationships that were special to her and as many unique stories to go along with each friendship. Wherever Melba went, she made new friends. Her stories will never end. She was our angel on earth and is now an angel in her father’s kingdom.
