Shirley Mae Young

Shirley worked as Frame Maintainer at GTE/Verizon and enjoyed crusing and family vacations. Shirley was also a proud hospitality minister at St. Catherines Perrish in Rialto, CA for many years.

Shirley is survived by daughters Sheryl Zitek & Debbie Carroll, daughter in law Robin Young, son in laws Carl Zitek & Sonny Carroll. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren & 2 great great grandchildren. Shirley was predeceased by husband James Young, son Mark Young, parents John & Helen West, granddaughter Sarah Young & grandson Ryan Brown.

A visitation for Shirley will be held Tuesday, March 19, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Miller Jones Mortuary and Crematory, 23618 Sunnymead Blvd, Moreno Valley, CA 92553. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, March 20, 2024 at 11:00 AM at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 10915 Pigeon Pass Rd, Moreno Valley, CA 92557. A committal service will occur Wednesday, March 20, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at Riverside National Cemetery.
