Michael Stanley Squarrel was born to the late Arthur and Dorothy Squarrel on January 1, 1949 in the city of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He was one of nine siblings. Michael attended school in the Philadelphia school system graduating from Thomas A. Edison High School in 1966. In 1969, Michael was inducted into the United States Army where he served a tour in the Vietnam War. Upon being honorably discharged from the U.S. Army in 1971, Michael embarked upon a life of educational enrichment and entrepreneurship operating small enterprises and owning his own taxi cabs.
In the mid-1980s Michael migrated from Philadelphia to California where he went on to acquire an Associate’s Degree from San Diego City College and a Bachelor of Arts Degree from National University. In 2001, he and his wife Brenda co-founded the Rejuve-Nations Outpatients Facility Inc. A thriving business that is still operating today.
Michael was a devoted husband and father who was blessed with two daughters and a son. His love for his family continues to abide in the hearts of those who survived him, a beloved wife, Brenda Squarrel.

Michael was preceded in death by his Parents, Arthur Sr. and Dorothy, and siblings, Sisters: Dorothy (Toi) Bowman, Paulette Tidwell, Dr. Anne (Bunny) Jenkins and Brothers: Arthur Jr. and Paige.
