Don loved to play golf, camping and party with his friends. Loved his pets. He really enjoyed the presence of his only grand daughter Leona Marie (Pumpkin) and will miss her smile dearly. Don served a total of 21 years in the military. He served aboard several navy ships and aircraft. He served in Vietnam for which he received 7 awards, 3 airmodala, navy achievement with combat V award, several navy unit and meritorious awards. He also was stationed in Spain, Germany, England, Hawaii, Guam, Philippines and Japan. He said, if he could do it all over again that he would gladly and proudly do so.
A visitation for Donald will be held Thursday, May 30, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Miller-Jones Mortuary and Crematory, 23618 Sunnymead Blvd, Moreno Valley, CA 92553.
Reception starts at 5:00 pm at Miller-Jones Mortuary.
Graveside Service will be held at Riverside National Cemetery on Friday, May 31st at 12:30pm.
