Sharon Rose Woolley (Loconto), 75, of Cortlandt Manor, NY, passed away peacefully on December 9, 2024, in Peekskill, NY. Born on February 2, 1949, in Ossining, NY, she was the daughter of the late John and Theodora (Gerard) Loconto.
Sharon graduated from Croton Harmon High School in 1967, where she was a cheerleader and a dedicated member of the reunion committee. She continued her education at the Fashion Institute of Technology, where she honed her talents as an artist, starting in the world of fashion. Sharon's artistic abilities expanded over the years, and she became known for her exquisite portraits, especially her cherished family portraits.
Sharon had a deep love for reading and was always eager to learn. Above all, she treasured her role as a mother and grandmother. Her loving sons, Richard Woolley (Esther) and Eric Woolley (Robin), and her cherished grandchildren, Lindsey, Charles, and Richie, were the light of her life. Sharon never missed an event, whether it was bowling, soccer games, or dance recitals, and she made sure to be there for every special moment in the lives of her children and grandchildren.
Sharon is also survived by the father of her children, Richard H. Woolley, her beloved sisters, Marsha Barbato and Margaret Parsons (William), several nieces, nephews, and many dear friends.
A visitation will be held at Edward F. Carter Funeral Home, 170 Kings Ferry Rd., Montrose, NY 10548, on Sunday, December 15, 2024, from 2-6 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Holy Name of Mary Church, Croton on Hudson, NY, on Monday, December 16, 2024, at 10 AM. Burial will follow at Bethel Cemetery in Croton on Hudson, NY.

Sharon will be remembered for her boundless love for her family, her artistry, and her kind and giving spirit. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
