Born June 20, 1928 in Brooklyn, New York, he lived in Rye, New York and Roanoke, Virginia. Pierre was a Navy veteran and attended Adelphi University. He worked as a television advertising sales executive in New York and Virginia.
Survivors include his brother James C. Watkins, his daughters, Helen Rhodes and Laura Fetters, two grandsons, and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held in Madison, Connecticut this Spring.
