Maria Adriana Quizhpi

Adriana was born on March 22, 1991 in Valhalla, NY to Maria Cruz and Luis Raul Quizhpi. From the start, Adriana proved she was a fighter. Throughout her life, she tackled a rare disease, heart failure and cancer. Despite facing numerous obstacles, she never lost her positive outlook and adventurous spirit. An avid traveler, Adriana visited China, Japan and several European countries. She also had a passion for cooking and could often be found watching episodes of cooking shows on TV. Spending time enjoying pot luck dinners with friends was one of Adriana’s favorite things to do. Adriana also loved spending time with her brother and her nieces, whether it was taking trips to the beach or playing board games at home.

Adriana is survived by her mother Maria, her father Luis, her brother Christian, her nieces Isabella and Victoria, her grandparents, numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A wake will be held on Wednesday, April 7th from 4:00 - 9:00pm at Edward F. Carter Funeral Home (170 Kings Ferry Road, Montrose, NY). The funeral will be held Thursday, April 8th at 12pm at St. Christopher Parish (3094 Albany Post Road, Buchanan NY).
