Lynn Dorothea Spinola

Lynn was the daughter of Dorothea (Berlinghoff) Hayward and Stanley Hayward, born on November 6, 1943. Lynn grew up in Verplanck, NY and graduated from Hendrick Hudson High School, class of 1961. Lynn married Paul Spinola on May 6, 1978 and they resided in Montrose, NY. Lynn was a Assistant Girl Scout Leader in the Verplanck Troop and a member of the Ladies Auxiliary for the Verplanck Fire Dept. Lynn was a retired Sergeant from the Westchester Department of Corrections, Woman's Unit. Lynn spent her final years as a resident at Skyview Nursing Care. Lynn loved her Bingo, arts and crafts and singing in Skyview's glee club. We are so grateful and can't give enough thanks to the nurses, the aides and all the staff at Skyview for the respect and kindness they gave to Lynn, treating her as family.

Lynn is survived by her brother Lee Hayward and his wife Janet, nephew Jason Hayward, niece Jody Hayward-Bagala (Joseph), great niece Johnna Hayward, great nephew Jake Hayward.

Lynn was predeceased by her parents Dorothea and Stanley Hayward and her husband Paul Spinola.

Visitation is scheduled for Monday, February 3rd from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm at Edward F. Carter Funeral Home, 170 Kings Ferry Road, Montrose, NY 10548. A funeral service will be held at 12:00pm at the funeral home. Interment to follow at Hillside Cemetery, 1033 Oregon Road, Cortlandt Manor, NY 10567.
