Kenny lived in Montrose for over 20 years. He was married to Janet Rose at that time, and they raised three children who survive him: Shannon, Meghan and Ryan. He is also survived by his mother Wai Ling, sister Julie, sister-in-law Jenny, niece Victoria, and nephew Steven. He was predeceased by his father, Kui Wing, and brother David.
Kenny was born in Hong Kong and immigrated to the United States when he was 7. He was the eldest of three children. He loved animals (especially cats), watching sports, and taking pictures. Kenny was never without a motorcycle in his life – he loved any fair weather day he could go for a ride. He was also a skilled chef and artist.
A car obsessive, Kenny worked in automotive garages for his entire life. He knew the ins and outs of everything car-related, which was a major resource to his loved ones. He loved to drive and he loved to be helpful to others.
A celebration of life is scheduled for Saturday, October 12th from 1-4pm at Edward F Carter Funeral Home, 170 Kings Ferry Road, Montrose, NY 10548.
