John Boonstra passed away on Monday, December 2, 2018. John was born to Piet and Lillian Boonstra on July 21, 1965 in Peekskill, NY. John was a proud United States Army disabled Veteran. John loved Elvis Pressley songs, Rambo movies and working on cars, especially his own. He also loved to walk, and he would think nothing of walking 10 miles in a single day. He also loved hiking in the woods, both alone and with a good friend or two. For work, John was able to do all kinds of handyman jobs, including power washing and painting houses, pruning trees, cutting lawns and general landscaping.
