Gabriel Paul Hayes III, 44, of Verplanck, NY passed away on September 2, 2017. He was born to Colleen (Grady) and Gabriel Paul Hayes II on December 9, 1972 in Sleepy Hollow, NY. Gabe served in the United States Army and was an Iraq War Veteran. He was a member of the Sleepy Hallow Fire Department, Sleepy Hallow Ambulance Core., Verplanck Fire Department and the Punishers MC Club.
He is survived by his devoted wife of 18 years Melissa (Miller) Hayes, adored children Crystal, Ashley, Gabriel IV, Charlie, Jennifer, Shane, and Marlissa loving parents Gabriel and Colleen Hayes, cherished siblings Daniel (Elena), Michael, James, Patrick, Alice (Adam) and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 4-8PM on Wednesday, September 6, 2017 at Edward F. Carter Funeral Home, 170 Kings Ferry Rd., Montrose, NY 10548. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, September 7, 2017 at 10:30AM, St. Christopher’s Church, Buchanan, NY. Cremation will be private.
