Francis was born on August 2, 1960 in Queens, NY to the late John L. and Patricia (McGoldrick) Fitzgerald. There are no words to express the impact Frank had on those who knew him. He will always be remembered for his selfless passion for helping others and his endless wisdom. Whether it was trips to Newport, watching Giants and Mets games, or playing Trivial Pursuit; moments spent with his family were what he truly treasured. In addition to being a CPA for over 30 years, Frank was an outstanding member of our community. He served on the Parish Council at St. Christopher’s Church, was the former President of the Hendrick Hudson Free Library, and co-founded the Living History Foundation.
He is survived by his loving wife, Jane T. Fitzgerald; beloved children, Erin Casciano, John Fitzgerald and Jim Fitzgerald; caring sisters and brothers, Kathryn Catala, John L. Fitzgerald, Margaret Ceccarelli and James Fitzgerald. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends and will be deeply missed by those who knew him.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 13, 2016 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm at the EDWARD F. CARTER FUNERAL HOME, 170 Kings Ferry Rd., Montrose, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, October 14th at St. Christopher’s Church, 3094 Albany Post Rd., Buchanan, NY. Cremation Services will be private.
