Florence was born on February 24, 1938 in Peekskill, NY to the late William Salerno, Sr. and Hazel Conklin. She married Coleman Hill Jr on September 4th, 1959. She was always the life of the party and dancing and singing were her most favorite things to do. She also cherished family time together.
She is survived by her children Cindy Thompson, Rachel Shields, Coleman Hill III, and Rebecca Hill and her sister, Marlene Stubbs along with her grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She is predeceased by her husband, Coleman Hill Jr. along with her father, William Salerno Sr, her mother, Hazel Conklin, her brothers William Salerno Jr, and Louis Salerno.
Visitation is scheduled for Thursday, February 1st from 4-8pm at Edward F. Carter Funeral Home, 170 Kings Ferry Road, Montrose, NY 10548. A funeral Mass is scheduled for Friday, February 2nd at 10am at St. Mary's Episcopal Church, 1836 E Main St, Mohegan Lake, NY 10547. Interment to follow at Hillside Cemetery, 1033 Oregon Road, Cortlandt Manor, NY 10567.
