Ms. Charlotte Hilton  was the epitome of the adjective kind.  I never saw her with anything less than a glowing smile on her face and never heard a harsh word leave her mouth. She was always so full of life and love and even during times when I was feeling blue her happiness was truly infectious,  I couldn’t help but feel better. She always made me feel like I was meaningful when many others saw just another messed up kid. I’ll never forget games of Rumikube in the cafe and good long talks on her back patio. Thank you for all the post cards, the laughs, the tools, and the love, but you can keep the Russian Easter Bread.  The world is emptier without you, yet heaven truly has another angel in its midst.

We dearly miss our nightly calls and your company. You have been such a source of strength, comfort and joy. You were always seeing the good in everyone, and made all around you feel so welcome. What a great sense of humor, but more importantly the ability to laugh at yourself. Your vintage postcard collection and stories of world travel are both treasured.  You will always have a special place in our hearts. You and Mom, mutual admirers of one another.

Dear Sweet Charlotte,
We already miss you so much!!! Your good cheer, sense of awe in daily life and sharing of stories were the best. Always a twinkle in your eye.
