Audrey M. Thompson Lepore

She was married to John J. Lepore on June 26, 1948 at the Assumption Church, and widowed since 1973. Audrey was born in Peekskill on January 5, 1927 to Robert H. and Alice (Gilbon) Thompson. She was raised and educated in Peekskill, where she also raised her family and was a life member of Centennial Hose Co. Ladies Auxiliary. She moved to St. Augustine in 2009, and immediately became active in both her senior community, and the Red Hats Society. Audrey was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, greatgrandmother, and friend, and will be dearly missed.

She is survived by her children, Diane Higgins, of Cortlandt Manor, Mary Rose (Marty) Matthews, of St. Augustine, FL, John (Patricia) Lepore, of Peekskill, James (Susan) Lepore, of Peekskill, and Thomas (Laurie) Lepore, of Highland Falls; also a brother Robert (Diane)Thompson, of Erie, PA. She also has 13 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Besides her husband, she is predeceased by a brother, Harold (Carol) Thompson.

There will be a Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, November 15th at 10:00AM at Assumption Church. Burial will follow at Assumption Cemetery. Family and friends may call on Sunday, November 14th from 48PM at EDWARD F. CARTER FUNERAL HOME, 170 Kings Ferry Rd. Montrose
