With loved ones with him, Bill passed on to his greatest journey in his 74th years. He leaves the love of his life, his partner Mary (Doyle Guerin), his daughter Dr. Nathalie Guerin (Dr. James Coverdill) with cherished grandson Patrick of Athens, Georgia and his son Daniel Guerin (April) of Ottawa.
Bill's raison d'être was found in this Waldo Emerson citation ''The purpose of life is not to be happy, it is to be useful, to be honourable, to be compassionate, to have it make a difference that you lived and lived well''.
As per Bill's request, there will be no visitation or services, but at a later date a celebration of his life will be held. Make time to tell cherished ones that they are loved, for that is the greatest gift of all.
