With heavy hearts we announce the death of Theodore Felix Gilbert, born in Mesopotamia, St. Vincent, West Indies on June 7, 1933.
He was predeceased by his wife, Shirley Gilbert (Knights); granddaughter, Courtney Gilbert; sister, Rosaline Lewis (Gilbert) and brother, Winston Charles .
He is survived by his children: Micheal Gilbert; Andrea Tyson (Gilbert); Flavia Frederick (Gilbert); Judy Mapp (Gilbert); Kevin Gilbert and Sharon Gilbert. His grandchildren: James Gilbert; Darryl “Mitch”Frederick; Kyera Mapp; Jordan Mapp; LaKyauha Tyson; Allia Tyson and Cameron Gilbert. His great-grandchildren: K-nyah Frederick and Amirah Frederick, Saryi Tyson and Malia Tyson. His siblings: Isola “Stef” Charles and Margaret Gilbert.
He is also survived by his son in laws, many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
If desired, those wishing to leave an expression of sympathy are asked to consider the St. Vincent Association of Montreal, St. James United Church or the Alzheimer’s Society.
