My deepest condolences on the loss of your lovely Phan.  She was a very special person in my life when I was a child.  Phan worked for my dad Dr. William Boroff.  She was always so joyful and ever so stylish.  I will never forget how kind she was when my dad passed....

        I was saddened to read about the loss of Phan . She worked as a dental technician for my late husband Willam Boroff .  I absolutely loved her . The most optimistic nature with a strong work ethic . She was loved by all . Having to escape her country and being a dentist in her own country ,she made lemonade out of the lemons that life gave her . May her memory be a blessing and I will remember her with love .Candi Boroff

I only met Phan twice through common friends.  The first was the day of my birthday at a restaurant where we happen to be dining at the same time.  She had just come back from a trip and upon knowing that is was my birthday promptly gave me a beautiful necklace, which I still treasure,  brought back from her travels which I politely refused as I had just met this dear woman.  There was no question of refusal.  I accepted graciously and timidly  amazed at her generosity.  
Through my friends I heard about her continual kindness in difficult situations.   She certainly was an extraordinary and lovely woman.  
It was with great sadness that I was made aware of her passing.  I had hope that our paths would cross again and that I would get to know her better as retirement was in the cards. 

My sincerest condolences to Jim and to the family.   She was a light unto herself and we find ourselves a little less lit with her departure.
