It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Sheila Mary Cox Denton on 28 January, 2024 at the age of 89.
Beloved wife of John Denton, cherished mother of Suzanne Victoria Denton and Robert Charles Denton , devoted grandmother of Benjamin Mitchell and Alice Denton and sister of Allen Cox.
Sheila was born 14th of February 1934. She served at Charing Cross Hospital, London in the 1950’s, moved to Montreal in 1962. In Montreal, she worked at Johnson Wireworks and Child Family Services. Sheila and John were married on 19 June, 1971. She devoted her time and money to several organisations including the Stephen Lewis Foundation, and West Hill Grandmothers Association.
A visitation will be held at Centre Funéraire Côte-des-Neiges, 4525 chemin de la Côte-des-Neiges, on Saturday, 24 February, 2024 from 2pm to 6pm.
