Dear Sandra,

I was looking for Allan... And once again you opened the door.

So many a time your words of wisdom and patience were shared with people unknown to you. To be a friend. To have seated at your table has been a blessing. Among the cats and dogs.. And the Allan.

You are such a sweet sool.

Your being reunited with your daughter, will be an honor to your great sense of humor and acceptance for all.

I know that she would want me to remember the happy times we had. She would tell me to cheer up, and she would give me a warm smile and hug. My Grandma Sandra was a beautiful role model to me. She was a very strong  woman, and that is something I will cherish with me, and pass on to my children one day. She was a patient, and was a very forgiving person.  She would always make the best out of every situation. Thank you for teaching me the things you have. I am glad that you are in a better place now, and that you are with your loved ones, and that now you are with Kim.  I will miss your laugh and your smile, and your unconditional love.

Sandra was remarkable for her kindness, intelligence, talents and humour.
The dignity with which she coped with her dementia, recognizing her diminishing abilities without bitterness or anger was truly remarkable. 
She continued to appreciate phone calls knowing her articulation did not keep pace with her thoughts, and I was always glad we connected.
She was a loving and caring person who recognized the unwavering love and support she received from her cousin Valerie
until the end.
The world is emptier without her.
 

To be friends with Sandra was to be a part of her family and friends and to be present at many wonderful gatherings and festitivities.
It was to receive the gift of her unwavering support, love and nurturing.
Words cannot express how much I shall miss this remarkable human being.

Gracious, witty, and kind. My oldest cousin and my mother's ( her aunt) best friend. She, Harvey, Aunt Elsie and Uncle Alex meant so much in our lives.

Profound and happy memories of cousin Sandra.  Remembering the good times and you made so many possible from my first visit to Montreal in 1989 and subsequent visits.  Also your  memorable first trip to London with Harvey and rest of family taking in London Zoo.

Sandra a dear friend. I miss our Friday evening dinners at the Indian restaurant, Christmas, family gatherings and your friendship.

Thinking of Sandra who asked so little but gave so much of herself. She will be missed by so many. 

Perhaps if we could see the splendor of our land, to which our loved ones are called from us, we would understand. Perhaps if we could hear the welcome they receive, from old familiar voices, all soo dear, we would not grieve. Perhaps if we could know the reason why they went, we'd smile and wipe away the years that flow, and wait, content.
