It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Rigoberto Alvarado Alonzo on the 2nd of December of 2023.
Beloved husband of Mrs. Lucia Ruiz-Alvarado and an extraordinarily devoted and loving father to his family.
He will be deeply missed by his wife, his children, grand-children, siblings, and relatives.
He graduated with a Bachelors and Masters degree in Chemistry from the University of Massachusetts and then he obtained his PHD in sustainability in the faculty of Urban planning at McGill University. Throughout his life, he worked as a professor and as a consultant for several important NGO. Rigoberto was a great mentor known for his success, knowledge, perseverance and most importantly for his wisdom, patience, humility, joie de vivre, and spirit of service – in other words pure love.
