Remo Antonio Bruzzese, 79, of Montreal, Quebec, passed away on May 21, 2024. He was born on August 8, 1944, in Mammola, Reggio Calabria, Italy.
In 1968, Remo served in the Italian army, demonstrating a commitment to his country that would be echoed in his distinguished professional career. Over the years, he worked as a land surveyor, draft engineer, textile chemist, and wedding videographer, leaving a legacy of dedication and expertise in each field.
Remo enjoyed riding his bike, spending time with friends and family, and photography. He had a deep love for journaling, often capturing the beauty of everyday moments and reflections in his writing. He was a devoted worshipper at Mission Madre dei Cristiani.
Remo is survived by his loving wife, Maria Clelia; his children, Maria Carmela (Gianni) and Giuseppe (Ashley); his brother, Vincenzo (Immacolata) ; his cherished grandkids Lorenzo, Santino, Giada, and Chiara; and his nieces and nephews, Salvatore, Liliana, Joseph, Marisa, Giuseppe, and Guglielmo.
He was predeceased by his parents, Maria Carmela Rosa and Giuseppe, and his sisters, Elisabetta and Luisa.
Services for Remo will be held at Centre funéraire Côte-des-Neiges, located at 4525 Chemin de la Côte-des-Neiges, Montréal, Québec, H3V1E7. The viewing will take place on Monday, May 27, between 2-5pm and 7-9pm. The ceremony will be held on Tuesday, May 28, at 2:30pm at the cemetery, address 4601 Chemin de la Côte-des-Neiges, Montréal, QC H3V 1E7.
